Compatible with both Mac and PCs alike, the External Slim DVD Writer is designed specially for on-the-go netbook and laptop users. It weighs less than a pound and measures a mere 5.5 x 6.2 x .75 inches (WxLxH). It takes up about as much space as a few CD or DVD disks. The External Slim DVD Writer is USB powered, which means you don't have to carry any cumbersome power adapters or cords. Simply plug the drive into an available USB port on your computer, and you're ready to go. It also features an easy-access tray loading drive with a manual eject button, which allows you to eject your disks even when the drive is powered off.
High-Performance, High-Speed Writing Abilities
Thanks to the drive's Buffer Under Run Technology, you won't suffer buffer under-run, which occurs in high-speed writing when the speed is faster than the data transfer.
